 PREPARATIONANDUSE:
 
 Toreconstitutetheantibody,centrifugetheantibodyvialatmoderatespeed(5,000rpm)for5minutestopellettheprecipitatedantibodyproduct.Carefullyremovetheammoniumsulfate/PBSbuffersolutionanddiscard.Itisnotnecessarytoremovealloftheammoniumsulfate/PBSsolution:10μLofresidualammoniumsulfatesolutionwillnotaffecttheresUSPensionoftheantibody.Donotlettheproteinpelletdry,asseverelossofantibodyreactivitycanoccur.
 
 ResuspendtheantibodypelletinasuitableBIOLOGicalbuffersuchasPBSorTBS(pH7.3-7.5)toafinalconcentrationof1.0mg/mL.Forexample,toachievea1.0mg/mLconcentrationwith50μgofprecipitatedantibody,theamountofbufferneededwouldbe50μL.
 
 Carefullyaddtheliquidbuffertothepellet.DONOTVORTEX.Mixbygentlestirringwithawidepipettiporgentlefinger-tapping.Lettheprecipitatedantibodyrehydratefor1hourat4-25°Cpriortouse.Smallparticlesofprecipitatedantibodythatfailtoresuspendarenormal.Vialsareoverfilledtocompensateforanylosses.
 
 Therehydratedantibodysolutionscanbestoredundilutedat2-8°Cfor2monthswithoutanysignificantlossofactivity.Note,thesolutionisnotsterile,thuscareshouldbetakenifproductisstoredat2-8°C.
 
 Forstorageat-20°C,theadditionofanequalvolumeofglycerolcanbeused,however,itisrecommendedthatACSgradeorhigherglycerolbeused,assignificantlossofactivitycanoccuriftheglycerolusedisnotofhighquality.
 
 Forlong-termstorageat-70°C,itisrecommendedthattherehydratedantibodysolutionbefurtherdiluted1:1witha2%BSA(fractionV,highest-gradeavailable)solutionmadewiththerehydrationbuffer.Theresulting1%BSA/antibodysolutioncanbealiquotedandstoredfrozenat-70°Cforupto6months.Avoidrepeatedfreeze/thawcycles.
