      ResuspendtheantibodypelletinanysuitableBIOLOGicalbuffer,standardPBSorTBS(pH7.3-7.5)aretypical.Volumesrequiredarenotcriticalbutitissuggestedthatthefinalantibodyconcentrationbebetween0.1mg/mLand1.0mg/mL.Forexample,toachievea1mg/mLconcentrationwith50μgofprecipitatedantibody,theamountofbufferneededwouldbe50μL.

      Carefullyaddtheliquidbuffertothepellet.DONOTVORTEX.Mixbygentlestirringwithawidepipettiporgentlefinger-tapping.Lettheprecipitatedantibodyrehydratefor1hourat4-25C°priortouse.Smallparticlesofprecipitatedantibodythatfailtoresuspendarenormal.Vialsareoverfilledtocompensateforanylosses.

      Therehydratedantibodysolutionscanbestoredundilutedat2-8C°for2monthswithoutanysignificantlossofactivity.Note,thesolutionisnotsterile,thuscareshouldbetakenifproductisstoredat2-8C°.Forstorageat-20C°,theadditionofanequalvolumeofglycerolcanbeused,however,itisrecommendedthatACSgradeorhigherglycerolbeused,assignificantlossofactivitycanoccuriftheglycerolusedisnotofhighquality.Forfreezing,itisrecommendedthattherehydratedantibodysolutionbefurtherdiluted1:1witha2%BSA(fractionV,highest-gradeavailable)solutionmadewiththerehydrationbuffer.Theresulting1%BSA/antibodysolutioncanbealiquotedandstoredfrozenat-70C°forupto6months.Avoidrepeatedfreeze/thawcycles.
